What converts, exactly
Two different claims, kept separate on purpose. Free Elementor widgets are the measured core of the product. Elementor Pro widgets are a growing supported list. Everything else is reported and skipped — never converted wrong: your conversion report names every element the converter left alone, and why.
Layout — always converted
Sections, columns, inner sections and flexbox containers convert to native Bricks sections, containers and blocks — including backgrounds, borders, boxed widths, vertical alignment and responsive column stacking.
Elementor (free) widgets — measured coverage
99.8% element-level conversion, measured across hundreds of elements in real Elementor-authored templates — not an estimate. All of these convert to native Bricks elements:
- Heading
- Text Editor
- Image
- Button
- Spacer
- Divider
- Icon
- Icon Box
- Image Box
- HTML
- Video
- Shortcode
- Icon List
- Social Icons
- Progress Bar
- Google Maps
- Toggle
- Testimonial
- Image Gallery
- Image Carousel
Elementor Pro widgets — supported list
Pro kits lean on a handful of widgets for their biggest sections. These are supported today, with the release that added them:
- Call to Action — since 1.0.2
- Price Table — since 1.0.3
- Form — since 1.0.3 (structure, fields and styling — email delivery starts on Bricks defaults and the report tells you to review it)
- Testimonial Carousel — since 1.0.3
- Blockquote — since 1.0.3
Pro widgets not on this list yet (posts grids, loops, sliders, popups, WooCommerce widgets, motion effects) are skipped with a named reason in your conversion report. The list grows release by release — the changelog is the record.
Site-level pieces
- Global colours and fonts — flattened into every converted page automatically.
- Site background from your kit — one click ("Migrate site styles") copies it into a Bricks theme style.
- Custom CSS — carried across with selectors rewritten to the new elements.
- Theme-builder headers and footers — not converted (they are Elementor Pro templates, not page content). The plugin can create a starter Bricks header from your menu in one click; rebuilding a bespoke header in Bricks is on you.
The honesty guarantee
Every conversion is additive and reversible: your Elementor data is never touched, a pre-conversion snapshot backs one-click rollback, and the per-page report lists everything converted, skipped and worth reviewing. If the converter can't translate something faithfully, it tells you — it never guesses.
